There are of course far more planets out there, and some on this list we’re yet to learn more about that’ll boost their importance in the rankings. That’s everything so far for our Starfield planets guide. ![]() There’s probably even a few that will end up moving into the major planets category.įor now though, here are all the planets we know about in Starfield: Planet Name Some of these worlds will have plenty more to do on them than what we’ve seen, while others might have never seen life on their surfaces before your arrival. There are plenty more planets out there, and we’ve been lucky enough to spot a few of them during various trailers and showcases for Starfield. Players in need of a lot of resources will probably end up here sooner or later. This city’s massive industrial capacity makes it vitally important to both its faction and the wider area of civilised space as a whole. Of particular note is its capital, Cydonia City, the oldest human extraterrestrial settlement in the galaxy. The Red Planet also falls into United Colonies space, and hosts some of the largest mining and industrial projects within civilised space. Though Earth might be in a tight spot, we know that life on Mars is still going strong. We know you’ll be visiting it during the early campaign, and it’s likely to remain one of the most important places in the galaxy for players to visit. It’s also the home base for the Starfield Constellation faction, who you’ll join at the start of the story. Most importantly though, Jemison is the cornerstone world of the Starfield United Colonies faction, hosting their prosperous capital of New Atlantis City. With a temperate climate, and atmosphere and gravity similar to Earth, the world has become a defacto successor to humanity’s birthplace. Jemison is perhaps the most important world we so far know about in-game. Whether it will play a part in the campaign, and what that part might be, are as of yet unknown. We know that the planet is in the “goldilocks zone” of the Alpha Centauri system, meaning it’s very likely to host an abundance of life. We know little about Gagarin too, but it got a brief spotlight back in an early gameplay showcase. We do know that, according to developers, we’ll find out about the fate of our world “very early on in Starfield”, suggesting the planet is likely to have at least some significant role within the campaign or adjacent side missions. The fact it hosts no faction capitals and hasn’t been mentioned all suggest some great catastrophe has taken place planetside. Strangely though, we currently know nothing about it. The homeworld of humankind is known to feature in Starfield. The planet is located in the Cheyene system.Īs the home of the second largest in-game faction, and a place where you’ll encounter a few potential Starfield companions, Akila is almost certainly going to be a frequent stop for many players. We don’t know much about the planet’s characteristics and biosphere yet, but the massive walls around the capital, Akila City, suggest some hostile local wildlife. ![]() Akila is the capital planet for the Starfield Freestar Collective faction.
