![]() During cocktail hour the food was anything but good. The bar was good and fully stocked- it offered decent beers and liquor and hardly had any lines throughout the night. When we arrived we had to walk from table to table to find our name- would have been easier if there was a table set up with name/table cards. We were greeted both at check-in and check-out by a very friendly staff member. We came to the Clarion to celebrate New Year's Eve we purchased tickets for the smaller room. This property does not provide complimentary breakfast with your stay, but coffee and doughnuts were made available in the morning. Also, at the time we visited, no towels were made available so we had to rely on room towels to dry off. The well worn deck furniture and the faded artificial plants added little to the pool area's ambiance. We found the indoor pool to be in need of a good skim and water to be a little murky, while the outdoor pool appeared to have several cracks or chips along the bottom. This property has both an outdoor pool and a second solarium-enclosed pool and jacuzzi. While this property has obviously made great strides to improve the interior, further renovations need to be made to exterior as well, including the pool areas. A nice surprise was the complimentary box of snacks that awaited us in our room. ![]() The high speed Internet worked as advertised. We found the room to be clean and to be in good working order, including the fridge/microwave unit. The recently refurbished bathroom area had been nicely accessorized as well. This is an older property, but in keeping with Holiday Inn's relaunch program, the room we stayed in had been recently remodeled and included their new signature linens. This property is within easy access to I-95 and a short drive from several restaurant and shopping facilities. If you are looking for a decent place to take a break from your travels north or south along I-95, then this should suit you fine. ![]()
